Time is a two-fold case

Time is a two-fold case
– one, that is of exterior tailoring –
the one taught by our elders, with help from gadgets long invented,
the one we all recognize as being of a civil cut – and all accept as being true!
– and then, the one that springs from an interior fountain –
the memories of yesterday, the agony, the ecstasy –
the yearnings of today, delights of being alive –
the hopes of tomorrow, the weakness of mortality!
Have we not spent enough of us
– in a perpetual fight,
to win the first and lose the last?
Or was it the other way round?
Great are the minds that come to teach
– how to employ the folds at hand –
Small are the souls of those who listen
– such levels of knowledge
craving to grasp –
For all is but illusion – a two-fold case –
the vanity and limitation man’s spirit can embrace!
